The 'men' that killed Jay waited SIX days before turning themselves in to the authorities. The authorities sent them home without charging them for anything so that they wouldn't miss any school. NINE days later, they were formally charged with "leaving the scene of an accident involving a death" and bond was set at $25,000 each. Less than 24 hours later, they were released on their own recognizance...

Donna Walker, 35, is charged with felony identity deception and misdemeanor false reporting . The Topeka, Kansas, resident was booked into the Boone County Jail at about 3 a.m. and was being held on $50,000 bond.
